After several years of rumors and false information on the internet the first solid leak of the Silent Hill remake has emerged online

Silent hill is a famous horror survival game released by Konami in 1999.

This leak comes from a leaker called AestheticGamer also known as Dusk Golem who is a credible insider. He posted multiples screenshots of the games on Thursday which were immediately taken down by Konami. Dusk Golem has previously posted leaks of Resident Hill village which came out to be true.

For the screenshots of the game head to this link.

The leaker claimed that the screenshots were from 2020. Dusk Golem also claimed that the reboot wasn’t the only Silent Hill game in development. We can expect a brand-new Silent Hill game or a reboot of Silent Hill 2. The screenshots included pictures of a woman, a trashy apartment, an email, and a wall filled with sticky notes.

The leaker said:

“Silent Hill leak. There’s a lot I’m not sharing for now. This is from a relatively new source for me, but I have been given more than enough proof to believe them. I also will mention the names “Anita & Maya”, “SMS Messages”, & this is not the only SH game in dev.”

It is still not known that who is developing this game but we can guess that Bloober games is working on this game (the studio behind Layers of Fear and The Medium). Konami and Bloober game announced a partnership in June last year.

The Leaker also proceeded to add that the game was supposed to be released in late 2021 but the production was halted due to the global pandemic. He said that the official announcement of the game may come pretty soon and even though he doesn’t know the release date of the game, its release date seems pretty close.

There are also rumors of the game being a PlayStation 5 exclusive which makes sense considering the rumors of a private deal between Konami and Sony. But these all are rumors unless we receive some solid piece of information from either party.
